1965 Chevrolet El Camino
SLICK EL CAMINO, CRATE 350, 4-SPD, TUXEDO BLACK, ICE COLD A/C, PRICED RIGHT!
Originally introduced in 1959 as a competitor to the successful Ford Ranchero, the El Camino took a brief hiatus before being reintroduced on the Chevelle platform in 1964. A timeless classic indeed, this unique truck/car combination vehicle has captured the heart of Americans for decades.
This particular 1965 El Camino has been restored and done up in a tasteful fashion sure to appeal to any true car enthusiast. Whether you prefer old school upgrades, or you want something similar to what you remember from back in the day, this El Camino is sure to deliver. The exterior of this El Camino is clean and straight, a feat not easy to pull off with black paint. When gloss black comes into play, any questionable body repairs are sure to come to light! With some pitting present in the chrome trim, there are very few visible flaws in the exterior of this truck (car?). Take this puppy out for a cruise, and you'll be sure to turn heads anywhere you go in this slick black pickup.
Under the hood is a GM 350 V8 crate motor. The choice of rodders and restorers everywhere since their inception, the Chevrolet small block V8 is a timeless choice that will easily deliver the reliability and power you require as the owner of a classic vehicle. This truck runs as good as it looks! The engine is hooked up to a 4-speed manual transmission; a combination certain to deliver as many smiles per gallon as possible. Banging gears in this old Chevy just feels right! Contrary to popular belief, the four wheel manual drum brakes stop this vehicle quite well and are more than adequate for the application. If you're looking to feel in touch with your vehicle while driving, this is the car for you.
The interior has been refinished and is in good overall condition. The seat is in excellent condition as is the dash pad. A modern radio has been fitted to the dashboard, as have aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges. The four-speed Hurst shifter has the classic look required for a car like this, and really completes the look of the interior. Additionally, this truck has been retrofitted with an aftermarket, modern-style A/C system to allow for comfortable cruising.
If you're looking for a clean El Camino that is turn-key cruiser ready, look no further. The black on black combination really suits this vehicle and the four-speed/350 combination makes it a fun driving machine. If all you need is an El Camino, this El Camino needs you!
