1981 Chevrolet Corvette
CLEAN C3, TURN-KEY, SOUNDS GREAT, AFFORDABLE, READY TO CRUISE!
HIGHLIGHTS: Clean little red Corvette! Affordable, attractive, and in ideal condition for daily use during the driving season. Classic C3 Corvette!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Corvette is very straight, as it is difficult to dent fiberglass. Damage is minimal and this car is in ideal driver condition.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The body is nice and clean, but the paint does show some minor imperfections that come with age. The paint has a nice shine to it, and the Corvette really doesn't need to be repainted any time soon. If you're looking for a 100% OEM correct showcar, this is not it, but for fun weekend cruising this Corvette fits the bill.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition appears to be largely original, though some items have certainly been replaced over the years. For the driver looking for a car they can go out and enjoy on a warm spring day, this is perfect! Some of the plastic items are showing some age discoloration, but overall the interior is clean and complete.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This Corvette fires right up at a turn of the key, and idles well even in cold weather. The brakes stop on a dime, and it shifts smoothly. The idle sounds good, and the exhaust note is simply perfect.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The bright red paint and the glorious exhaust note.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: There's really not much to nitpick. It has some minor paint blemishes, but nothing to keep the person who wants a nice driver away.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The battery cover behind the seat is damaged and would need to be replaced to operate properly, but even with that this Corvette is turn-key for next weekend!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an attractive and affordable C3 Corvette! It combines that 1970s feel with some 1980s design elements to achieve that classic 1980s C3 feel. This car is the perfect candidate for a fair weather daily driver!
