1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible Replica
REALLY SOLID GTO CLONE CONVERTIBLE, 455 V8, PS, PB, BLACK BUCKET SEATS, CRUISER!
HIGHLIGHTS: Clean red GTO clone! Affordable, attractive, and in ideal condition for daily use during the driving season. Classic GTO look with LeMans price tag!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Pontiac is very straight, and while this car has been used as a weekend daily, it has been kept up. Damage is minimal and this car is in ideal driver condition.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The body is nice and clean, but the paint does show some minor imperfections that come with age and use. The paint has a nice shine to it, and the Pontiac really doesn't need to be repainted any time soon if you plan to use it for cruising. If you're looking for a 100% OEM correct showcar, this is not it, but for fun weekend cruising this little convertible fits the bill!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition appears to have been done in largely original style. For the driver looking for a car they can go out and enjoy on a warm spring day, this is perfect! Some “touch” items are showing age and wear from frequent use, but overall the interior is clean and complete. Sturdy harnesses have been added in the rear seat for safekeeping of youngsters or nervous passengers.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This Pontiac idles smoothly and has that classic Pontiac rumble to it. It shifts smoothly, stops well, and with the top down is an overall pleasure to drive. It sounds as good as it looks! The 455 V8 gives it plenty of power, while the TH350 transmission gives it smooth shifting. The power meets the road through a 12-bolt rear end for added durability.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The bright red paint and the ability to cruise with the top down!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car was built to be used as a frequent driver, and has been used as such. While this car is easy on the eyes, it is no 100-point show car. If minor signs of age and use bother you, this car may not be for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? One of the “blanks” in the gauge cluster has come loose and fallen into the dash, and it could use a good buff to get that superior shine. Regardless, she's ready to run for next weekend!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an attractive and affordable GTO convertible that they can cruise regularly with no worries! This is the perfect summer weekend cruising companion.
