1978 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne
UNIQUE CUSTOM PAINT, REBUILT 350 SBC & TH350, CLEAN CRUISER!
HIGHLIGHTS: Two-owner truck with a mild custom touch! Classic 1970s appeal with a super unique color combination.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is remarkably clean for an old pickup, especially one that was not gaining in value until the last few years. This is a pickup truck that is perfect for someone needing a truck every so often. It is nice enough to turn heads wherever you go, but not so nice that you're afraid to use it!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this truck is certainly better than factory quality, and while it appears to be a repaint that is at least a few years old, it still looks great and is more than adequate to make this truck stand out. It has plenty of shine to it, and you can tell that this truck has been cared for since it was refreshed. Originally a brown and cream two-tone, the owner opted for a GM yellow to replace the cream when it was repainted.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior of this old C10 is exactly what one would expect from an old C10, except a lot nicer than many surviving examples out there! Much like the exterior, the interior has been gone through and fixed up. It looks great! The addition of a modern radio allows for endless musical possibilities, while the aftermarket gauges under the dash ensure accurate readings.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is what makes this truck such a delight to drive. While it may be a “regular” 350 V8 hooked up to a TH350, this is a tried and true combination that simply can't be beat. Both the engine and transmission are said to have been rebuilt 1,700 miles ago and the way this thing runs & drives it is hard to doubt that claim. It sounds fantastic, and drives great!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The mild custom exterior appearance that stands out without being too flashy. Plus, it really does drive great!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Rolls pans and Altezza tail lights aren't for everyone, but those two things are easily reversible if the next owner isn't keen on them.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Like any old pickup, it has some minor quirks, but it needs nothing to be driven home today!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? The buyer for this car is anyone looking for a unique '70s pickup that they can show off while also using it for its original intended purpose.
