1964 Chevrolet Impala
327 V8, BAGGED ON ACCUAIR, FOCAL SPEAKERS, KICKER SUBWOOFERS, GREAT PATINA!
HIGHLIGHTS: 4-wheel AccuAir air suspension! This car can go down until the exhaust pipes hit the ground! Not at all what it may seem from exterior appearances, this Impala is a mild custom with a carefree look. Sitting on staggered 18” and 20” US Mags wheels, this patina'd classic is a real head turner! Power brakes, front disc brakes, and a killer sound system.
BODY OVERVIEW: Don't let the unrestored condition fool you--the body on this old Impala is very honest and straight! It is extremely clean, and appears that it would be very accepting of a fresh paint job if the patina is not for you. To us, the beauty of the car is in it being a little rough around the edges! This is a car that looks cool, but isn't so nice that you're afraid to drop the bags down and cruise every weekend.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this car is believed to be original. Overall, it is in very good condition! There are a couple of bubbles at the bottom of the doors that we've made sure to show in the photos. Ultimately, you don't get this type of desirable age on the paint without a few bubbles like that!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior has been completely restored and features OEM seat covers and a brand new radio and speaker system to blast tunes from. When we say blast, we mean BLAST! A set of four Focal speakers on their own amp along with two Kicker subwoofers in the trunk make for a mind-blowing and brain-rattling audio experience, perfect for truly drifting away to your own world while out for a cruise. This is a high-dollar system that has been professionally installed, and provides crisp, clear music at any volume you like.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Open the hood and you'll find a 327ci V8 that was overhauled recently. During the rebuild they installed double hump heads, new carb and intake, new gas tank, new H.D. radiator, and a new complete exhaust system. The manual drum brakes were completely replaced up front with disc brakes and, of course, a power brake booster. That's right; this Impala has power front disc brakes! This car will stop on a dime! The AccuAir airbag suspension has controls for each corner of the car, so you can adjust each airbag individually. This makes for a comfortable ride that you can adjust on the fly as well as some fun at your local car shows!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: That classic, warm patina look showing the age of the vehicle. Who doesn't love a car that tells its own story?
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you're looking for slick paint, a quiet ride, and maximum originality, you'll probably want to pass on this one.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is ready to hit the road!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is for someone looking for a carefree, ready to go weekend cruiser with some mild creature comforts. If you're looking to ride in style without breaking the bank or worrying about a fancy new paint job, this is the car for you!
