PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this Fairlane looks great, and is PPG so you know it will stand the test of time. The silver is subtle, but really highlights the styling of this car and looks great with the black 427 hood.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black interior is a fantastic match to the exterior color and it picks up nicely on the black hood. The interior is in nice, ready to cruise condition. While many original components have been refinished and/or reused, the shifter and gauges are custom and act as a constant reminder that this car has something special going on underneath. The dash pad, kick panels, and headliner have been replaced with new components.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: With a 427 cowl hood on it, you've simply got to have something underneath that makes this car's bite match it's bark. This puppy is sitting on a full custom frame (that's right, they put a frame under it!) with a Dodge Dakota front clip and a 2006 Crown Victoria rear frame. With rack and pinion steering and a full frame, this Fairlane handles like no other! It even has 4-wheel disc brakes and rear 4 link suspension with adjustable Morrison PRO coilover shocks!
But wait, there's more! The engine is a Ford 460 that's been stroked to a 523 cubic inch beast. It is dyno-proven to have 500hp / 610 ft/lbs. Other engine upgrades include Comp Cams camshaft with .530 lift (intake & exhaust), hydraulic lifters, Edelbrock intake, FAST EZ-EFI self-tuning fuel injection system, MSD electronic ignition with billet distributor, and an aluminum radiator with Cooling Components electric fan. The engine is hooked up to a Ford C6 automatic transmission equipped with a Gear Vendors overdrive. The power meets the road by way of a Ford 9” rear with 4.11 gears and Strange 31 spline axles. Last but not least, it has custom headers, stainless dual exhaust, and Dynomax mufflers.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Pretty much everything listed above! The overdrive is the big one. This car is capable of going 70mph at less than 3000rpm. The overdrive can be activated manually or switched to automated mode. It engages around 40 mph, and downshifts when slowing down below 25mph. This car is capable of being both a cruiser and a menace!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: There's not much to nitpick on this one. The Octane headlights with blue LED rings look super cool, but may be a bit much for some enthusiasts.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is turn-key! The only minor items that need to be addressed are the horn and the parking brake.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is for someone who wants to go fast and look cool doing it. This car has a subtle but sinister look, and would be a great weekend warrior!
