1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS
CLEAN 427 BIG BLOCK, 4-SPD, PS, 4-WHL DISCS, HOUNDSTOOTH INTERIOR, GREAT CRUISER
HIGHLIGHTS: Gorgeous Lemans Blue big block 427 4-speed Camaro! Incredible look and sound makes this a serious head turner! Ton of new parts and killer old-school muscle car look.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, showing that this car has been cared for since the restoration. Bring a magnet and see that it isn't full of bondo. Door and hood gaps are extremely well and the hideaway perfect trailer queen, but it still something that is capable of winning awards at your local cruise in.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Covering the body is one of Chevrolet's most iconic colors - LeMans blue and white SS stripes. The paint is approximately 5-years old and still looks great and is more than capable of winning awards at your local cruise-in.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Step inside this Camaro and it feels like Day Two! The black vinyl is accented by a clean white hounds-tooth. Dakota Digital gauges and a line-lock button on the T-10 4-speed shifter are excellent additions. Under the brand new carpet you'll find hushmat sound deadening material has been installed for an extra quiet ride. Long story short: You would be proud to display this car with the doors sitting wide open.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is the iconic Chevy big block 427 V8. The sound generated at the tailpipes just can't be beat. A quick run on the chassis dyno produced 349hp at the rear wheels, more than enough to spin the tires if you so choose. With a big block under the nose, its important to have the 2 main power options in power steering and power brakes, thankfully this camaro has both to ensure this car is an ease to drive. Infact, Stopping power comes courtesy of wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes. At the rear of the car you'll find a 10-bolt with 3.55 rear gear with moser axles.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: This Camaro has the right look and is an affordable American icon. The big block, stunning blue paint, and clean interior fulfills the legacy of the iconic Camaro. What's not to love?
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The only thing we can think of is the fuel cell is located in the trunk, so there's not much space in the trunk for car show gear.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The emergency brake cable needs adjusted, its not currently engaging the emergency brakes. Also, the headlight doors will stick sometimes and need help opening and closing.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an eye-catching, affordable, classic American icon should consider this beauty!
