1970 Plymouth 'Cuda
NICE RESTO, #S MATCHING 440V8 AND 727 TRANS, FACTORY COLORS, HEAD TURNER!
HIGHLIGHTS: Galen Govier documented! VIN matching 440 V8 and transmission! Fully restored! Build Sheet and Govier documentation included in sale! Factory Rallye Red! Awesome Mopar muscle car!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 'Cuda is smooth and straight, with a high-quality Rallye Red repaint. This car has been restored, and was done right! Even the underside is super clean! I know that sounds very quick and to the point, but that's how straight and clean this body is. You don't have to overthink this one.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The Rallye Red paint is a great choice for an iconic 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda, and the black vinyl top and black stripes make for an excellent contrast. The vinyl top and paint are both in great condition. Even better, this is exactly the way it left the factory according to the build sheet.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is nice and restored, just like the exterior of the car. Equipped the way it left the factory, with black vinyl bucket seats, woodgrain dash and center console, and Rallye instruments, this 'Cuda is a tidal wave of 1970s Mopar nostalgia! It even has a factory tach!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: If you don't already like this car, you're about to! Under the hood is the VIN-matching High-Performance 440 V8 hooked up to the VIN-matching 727 transmission. Yep, she was born this way! Under the hood this car retains a nice, factory stock appearance with the only notable change being the addition of a Six Barrel (Six Pack) carburetor and intake setup instead of the factory four-barrel like it had from the factory. Power meets the road by way of an 8¾ rear end and the nostalgic Mopar big-block exhaust note is delivered through dual exhaust pipes (factory option), Dynomax mufflers, and finally chrome exhaust tips (also a factory option this car was equipped with). Factory power brakes with discs up front ensure safe stopping. This 'Cuda is ready to rumble!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The throaty rumble of the 440 and the true to factory restoration. Plus, you just can't beat a numbers-matching car with a build sheet and Galen Govier documentation!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The “Slap Stick” shifter is cool, but some buyers may prefer a manual transmission.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Just a new driver!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This is the car for the enthusiast that is looking for a real, authentic muscle car from the height of the muscle car era that has been kept true to its original form.
