1970 Ford F100
351W, DIGITAL GAUGES, GREAT PATINA, POWER BRAKES, NICE ROWDY STREET CRUISER!
HIGHLIGHTS: Classic short bed Ford! Patina'd blue paint, aged interior, 351 V8 and automatic transmission!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this F100 is very nice when considering the age of the truck and the apparent lack of a restoration. This truck looks to have seen a few upgrades in the past, but the body looks to be largely in original condition! Overall, this is a very solid old truck, despite some bubbling as shown in the photos.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint still has a nice shine to it, however it has certainly seen some miles and there is some normal wear and aging to be found in addition to imperfections shown in the photos. For a truck that is going to be used as a truck somewhat regularly, the paint is perfectly presentable. It is what we would refer to as good driver paint, though some would say that it has more of a patina look due to the normal age and wear on it. As seen in the photos, this truck was previously white and was resprayed blue.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Like the exterior, the interior hasn't necessarily been restored, but has seen some repairs and upgrades in the past. The bench seat has some tears on the driver's side, and there is no carpet. The gauges were swapped out for a plug & play digital dash, which is a nice little highlight reminding the driver that this truck isn't stock.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this truck is equipped with a Ford 351V8.. The engine runs smoothly, and has a nice throaty rumble to it. The 351 is hooked up to an automatic transmission, which makes this truck perfect for light cruising or casual in-town hauling. The engine runs great, and provides more than enough power to get the job done in this Ford. It even has power brakes! Topped off with tasteful black 15” steel wheels, this F100 is exactly what an old truck should be.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The fact that it's still a truck! Too often, classic trucks like this are being restored and upgraded to the point that they are not functional or practical as a truck anymore. This one is still true to the original style, and capable of performing its original purpose.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This truck does not have air conditioning, which can be a dealbreaker for some buyers.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The horn and reverse lights are not currently operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone who grew up riding around in old American pickups with minimal comfort options, or anyone looking for a unique light duty truck!
