1949 Chevrolet 3100
CLEAN CLASSIC 3100, NICE RESTO, 235CI, 4-SPEED MANUAL, NICE MILD CUSTOM PICKUP!
HIGHLIGHTS: Super clean restored mild custom Chevy 3100! High-quality tasteful resto in great condition! Classic GM truck!
BODY OVERVIEW: The beauty of this 3100 is the cleanliness and sharpness of the restoration. The body is straight, clean, and unencumbered by large amounts of chrome. The chrome bumpers add just enough bling, and the wood bed kit is the icing on the cake. Being a Nevada truck previously, it is no surprise how clean this thing is!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the body, the paint simply looks great! The two-tone plum and burgundy is a seldom seen, but sharp combination that is sure to make this truck stand out in a crowd! The paint has a bright shine and looks great with the chrome aftermarket wheels. This appears to be a 20-ish year old restoration, though it doesn't show! This 3100 presents extremely well and is sure to turn heads anywhere you go.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: As one would expect, the interior is in equally good condition as the exterior. Though some liberties have been taken as far as colors and materials, the interior remains tasteful and is in great condition! The cloth seat material is soft and comfortable, showing very little signs of wear or use.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Continuing with the mostly original theme, under the hood is a 235ci Chevrolet inline 6-cylinder engine which isn't original for this truck, but it sure does look like it belongs. Aside from a chrome valve cover, the engine bay was done very true to original style. The six runs great, sounds great, and is more than adequate power for casual cruising. Equipped with a four-speed floor shifted manual transmission, this Chevrolet 3100 is sure to provide an authentic vintage truck experience! The power drum brakes stop it surprisingly well, and everything feels nice and tight. It shifts smoothly, and is surprisingly easy to drive even without power steering!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The clean look and tasteful custom touches. Plus the great overall condition is hard to argue with!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The mild customizations aren't for everyone.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The fuel gauge is not operational at this time, and there are no door keys.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for a fun, unique truck that hasn't been irreversibly modified should be all over this! If you're after a tasteful, fun, well-done solid 3100, this could be the truck for you.
